I am trying to wrap my head around Packers +4.5.

This is a rudimentary way of looking at this but consider the following two facts.

1. In week 16, DAL hosted DET on MNF and were a 6 point favorite (yes I know they didn't have anything to play for, but that was not decided until the Giants lost on TNF...to my knowledge the line didn't drop after that result)

2. In week 17 GB traveled to DET and were 4 (or 4.5) point favorites AT DET.

DAL -4.5 feels inflated. Maybe that is what the books had to do to protect themselves with Dallas being a public team. If they hang -3 out there maybe they get hammered with Dallas $.

At the current number, I would suspect that the books will be rooting for the Boys.
